Matthew 21:13 "It is written," Jesus said to them, " ' My house will be called a house of  prayer,' " (Isaiah 56:7)

Prayer is our abiding link to our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We believe that prayer is so important in our Christian walk with the Lord and as Jesus told us "where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."  On Wednesday evenings after the "Fuel for the Family" dinner  we have intercessary prayer from 6:45 pm until 7:45 pm.  We usually meet in the prayer room in the Administration Building but many times we go out and pray with the sick or make other prayer visits. If you have a prayer need or want to pray with us please  contact us at the email address above.

Life is hard and was never meant to be lived in isolation. Church of the Highlands offers a number of ways that we strive to love, encourage, support, pray and care for one another through this journey.

We know life is full of joys and difficulties. We want to go through these times with each other. Whether it is the birth of a child, a hospital stay, or death, we are here to walk alongside you.

VOLUNTEER MINISTRY

Volunteer Ministry helps place the right people in the right places for the right reasons.

Just as the human body cannot function properly unless the eyes, ears, and hands each do their part, so the Body of Christ—the Church—cannot function as God intended without each believer doing his or her part. 1 Corinthians 12 shows us that we all have a place to serve in the church and that we all play a vital role in the body of Christ. This body of believers at Church of the Highlands relies upon volunteers to help in fulfilling the calling that God has given us as a church.

We have a variety of ministries that encompass many different talents and passions. So whatever your talents and passions are we have a place for you. If your schedule does not allow you to serve on an ongoing basis; we also have a variety of one-time service opportunities.
